Spiritual Nurture Series
Bringing Young Adult Friends together to connect, grow, and discover Truth in Faith and community
The Young Adult Spiritual Nurture Series through New York Yearly Meeting and under the care of the Spiritual Nurture Working Group is a set of services that provides young adult Friends (ages 18-35ish) with opportunities to connect with each other in Faith and community, build skills related to Quaker process and practice, and enrich their faith and understanding as Friends. With workshops, retreats, and virtual engagements, YAFs may participate as they feel led and can join in as many or as few activities as desired. Activities are designed to intersect with various NYYM events and participants are encouraged to participate in these larger events as able and appropriate. While all parts of the series will be held in within New York Yearly Meeting, YAFs from other Yearly Meetings are welcome and encouraged to join us!
All workshops are pay-as-led. We do not want anything to get in the way of your participation! Scholarships, childcare, transportation stipends, and hospitality will be available for all workshops. Please indicate on your registration if you need or might need these services. Please let us know if there is anything else you need in order to join us!
NOTE: When possible and appropriate, virtual participation options will be available! On the registration, indicate that you can't come in person but want to video in, and we will send you additional information!
